The recent string of updates have come with a lot of bugs. The latest one in the beginning of May 2024 was mainly to update graphics for battle, map, and character. What it also did was break the settings menu so that anytime I tap on it, it glitches and removes all buttons anywhere else. I can do nothing but stare at the map. Deleting and redownloading has only made it worse. Oh and I can't report the bug because that's also in the settings menu.

Most recent update makes the game unplayable. The game loads in, and then the touchscreen in-game is entirely unresponsive. I can still minimize the game and my screen works just fine outside the game, so it's just a PoGo issue. Literally unplayable in its current state. Galaxy 21, so a few years old, but shouldn't make the game unplayable. PoGo launched years before this phone was released.

New updates broke the game to an unplayable state. Every time the app is closed it completely freezes and the only way to continue playing is to remove and reinstall. The game is free, but leans heavily into "pay to win" with micro transactions available on nearly every screen. There's seasonal and regional events that take place and require real money to unlock, but offer little in return.
